Very nice! I remember a trip to Disneyland in 1987. Was that the one you were thinking of or earlier? It wasn't The Yakima?

Okay, that got me teary too. In fifth grade after Desert Storm, that same thing happened to a girl in my class. Her dad walked through the door after serving and she was so stunned she didn't know what to do. I'll never forget that.

I remember seeing that clip on the news around the time it happened. It gets me teary eyed every time! I just can't imagine what those kids go through being separated from their dads or moms for so long.

Kirk Cameron! hahahaha! I was in love with Leonardo DiCaprio. Kirk was a little too old for me.. Well Leo was too now that I think about it..
Btw- if you didn't read my reply comment on my blog- We're in Chambers Creek, and living at Boulder Park by Baskin Robbins. Everyone in the ward kept telling us how happy they are to have Shumates back in the ward! We MISS you!!

OK that mean having me watch that clip. You know how easy I cry, I am starting to cry again thinking about crying. And I thought Kirk Cameron was hot also.
