I LOVE the first day of school. I love being able to relive this experience through my kids. So here's a few pictures of the kids on their first day of school. It's weird for me to see them in jeans and tennis shoes after wearing shorts and flip flops all summer long.
Reagan and Kelsey had a great day of school. When asked about school, Reagan says "I really like it." She likes being in the 3rd - 5th grade hall and playing at the other playground at recess. Kelsey was excited about having three recesses on the first day. She also loves being able to go to music and gym and lunch. Three big differences from kindergarten. Gwyn and I have been doing very well by ourselves. I think it's going to be a great year!

I bet when you're around them you can totally tell who's older but in pictures- I seriously think they look like twins! Such beautiful girls :) I loved going back to school when I was a kid- probably part of the reason I love the fall so much- Halloween is still my favorite holiday. Can you call that a holiday?
What does Reagan have in her backpack? It looks like a load for only being a 3rd grader. Glad to see the girls are excited to be back in school and mom is as well.
On the first day of school they have to bring all their supplies including some bulky items like a box of kleenex and her pencil box so her backpack was full.
